Tokyo Bubble Tea in San Juan

The ambiance of Bubble Tea is vibrant and relaxing. It's just the perfect place to just hang-out with your friends over good food and good drinks. The meals are pretty affordable and tasty. For their price, it's definitely a winner.

Chicken Teriyaki Doria Php 245
Grilled boneless chicken topped on baked rice with melted cheese.
The chicken rice platters were delicious. There could have been more veggies but the chicken was tasty and the sauce was good.

Yakiniku Beef Rice Php 245
Grilled sliced USDA beef marinated in yakiniku sauce served with garlic rice and sidings.

Pork Katsudon Php 195
Breaded pork cutlet with egg and mixed vegetables.
It really has nothing special for the taste but the serving is really worth it..big and yummy.
Double Chocolate Milkshake Php 135
It was so delicious because the Milk Shake was really thick. It was a bit sweet because it was after all chocolate but at the same time so creamy. Just the way I have imagined it would be.

Royal Milk Tea Php 115
There were so many choices to choose from. Admittedly, I had a hard time what to pick. It seemed that I want to taste them all. And what was more intriguing is, they put rock salt to some certain drinks that they serve.

Chow Fun: Modern Chinese Bistro

Nowadays, I know that I need to eat more healthy foods. Whoa! So hard to do especially with all the great places to dine in all around us. Good things is that Chow Fun is here to help us with that especially for meat-lovers. When we get there, I am still surprised that the place is very small but still it attracts customers. Chow Fun is owned and operated by Maverick Food Concepts Group Inc., they opened two months ago.

For our appetizer..
Chinese Fondue Cheese Curry Php 155
Seafood balls, fried squid and vegetable cakes with a choice between two different fondue dips: Cheese & Curry or Spiked Sweet Chili. It creates a nice presentation, and get even more exciting flavors when dipping in.

Chow Fun Chicken Fry
Half Php 290
Whole
Php 520
House version of fried chicken coated in a blend of roasted spices and peppercorn. The chicken is different from the other fried chicken I tasted, it's really good and really addicting. One more thing i liked about the chicken is that the taste seeps from within some chicken taste bland inside.

Kanzhu Hand-Pulled Noodles: Authentic Northern Chinese Cuisine

There's a fairly place on Timog Avenue, Quezon City that serves authenthic hand-pulled noodles. Kanzhu Hand-pulled noodles has a history of more than 300 years, and its origins can be traced in Lanzhou, Kanzhu Province, China. In present, Kanzhu Hand-pulled noodles is found not only in Kanzhu province, but in all corners of China. It is labeled as the No. 1 Noodles on Earth.

Wok Fried Fragrant Chicken (Php 200)

The fragrant chicken was also good. It was very soft and the sauce had the perfect balance of sweetness. It reminds me of General's Chicken of Recipes (Click this link to see). Crispy fried chicken pieces with skin and sliced eggplants make up this dish. I thought at first that it looked kind of unappetizing but it's actually pretty good.

Braised Beef Dry Noodles (Php 150)

Initially, we ordered just one to share. Dish was good though.  Noodle was firm and chewy.  The beef was surprisingly tender and flavorful, with a little hint of heat.

Serenitea at Greenhills, San Juan

I first discovered Serenitea exactly a month ago upon hearing the raves of bloggers about this cozy tiny tea store along J. Abad Santos that serves good tea drinks.
